Price alerts work for stocks and crypto, and you need to be signed in. There are two ways to set one.
Method 1: the card. 1. In the Ask box, type the stock or coin, like "MSTR stock", "Tesla stock" or "bitcoin price". A card appears with the price and a chart. 2. Under the chart, tap 🔔 Price alert. 3. Choose above or below, type the price, and tap Alert me. You'll land on Your price alerts, which says "Alert set".
Method 2: one sentence. Type the whole request into the Ask box and press Ask, for example "tell me when bitcoin goes above 120k", "alert me if MSTR drops below 100" or "let me know when Tesla hits 300". "Hits" works in either direction from today's price. The site refuses a price it has already passed, since the alert would go off immediately.
What happens next. Prices are checked every minute. When your price is crossed, you're told once: by the bell icon, by phone if notifications are on (Settings → Notifications on this device), and by email. The alert then moves to "Went off". Set a new one if you want to be told again. You can have up to 25 waiting at once.
Managing alerts. Open Your price alerts under You, from your profile's "Only you" list, or at /alerts. It shows each waiting alert with today's price and how far it has to go. Tap Delete to remove one. Stock prices come from Yahoo Finance and can be a little delayed; coin prices come from Coinbase. An alert is only a notification, not a trade or financial advice.
