Updated October 2026: Still accurate, with two corrections: PDF exports also leave out speaker notes (only the PowerPoint file keeps them), and presentations are listed inside Docs, not in a separate Presentations list.
The simplest set-up is to make the deck in your book club's circle. A circle's presentation is already open to everyone in the circle, so you don't need to add people one by one. Open the circle, go to Docs, press New presentation and pick a theme. To present, press ▶ Present. → , Space, a tap on the right or a swipe moves you forward, ← goes back, N shows your speaker notes for you alone, and Esc stops.
For the others to follow along, they need the presentation open on their own phone or computer while you present. Then anyone who taps Follow under the line saying you're presenting will see your slide change with yours. Pressing an arrow stops following. If you're presenting from a deck outside the circle, first press Share and add each person as Can view; that works only for people with Agorai accounts.
For anyone without an account, or as a backup, use ⬇ Download beside Share. The PowerPoint file keeps your speaker notes, the PDF gives one slide per page with no notes, and the Slideshow web page plays in any browser but also leaves out the notes. Open the deck on your phone a day before the meeting and check that Follow works there.
