You Can See Everything is a 2026 documentary directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, Fielder's feature directing debut. It premiered as a surprise screening at the Telluride Film Festival and then played the New York Film Festival, where it ran about three hours (Variety lists 174 minutes). A24 is behind it.
The premise: in 2023, weeks before Elizabeth Holmes began her prison sentence for defrauding Theranos investors, she and her partner Billy Evans invited the filmmakers to document their life at a rented beach house in Del Mar, California. The film is built like reality TV and hangout cinema, and Fielder appears on screen. Its main question is what makes Holmes tick, and the film keeps asking whether she is telling the truth. Fielder has said he believes she is a liar, even though she seems sincere on camera. Variety's review calls it a look at "entitled duplicity" and praises how the film blurs documentary and performance.
To see how far the film goes, watch the Hulu series The Dropout, which the documentary itself references. Then compare the two, since one is a dramatized reconstruction and the other is a film about the real person in her own home.
