Making a poll takes about a minute. Open any message box (a reply, or a new conversation) and click the 📊 Poll button in its toolbar. In a private conversation, use the + button and choose Poll. The Make a poll window asks for the Question, then a kind: Pick one, Pick any, Rank them, or Find a date. Add choices with ＋ Add a choice (up to 10; for Find a date, up to 14 dates, each with an optional time). Under Closes, pick No end, in an hour, a day, 3 days or a week. If you want a fairer wording check, ✨ Check my wording offers suggestions that only you see. Then tap Add the poll. That puts one line reading "📊 Poll: …" in the box, and posting the message posts the poll as a live card. A shortcut: type poll: and your question into the Ask box (for example, poll: tacos or pizza?) and it opens a new conversation with the poll already set up. Votes stay hidden until you vote or the poll closes, and in public conversations votes are secret while the reasons carry names. Ranked polls are decided by instant runoff, and you can change your vote until the poll closes.
