Agorai hides poll results until you've voted or the poll has closed, so early numbers can't sway people who haven't voted yet. It's a design choice for fairness: the first votes shouldn't push later ones.
A few related rules:
- One account, one vote. The card always shows how many people have voted, even before you can see the split.
- Change your vote any time until the poll closes.
- Closing: when the poll closes, no more votes are taken, and everyone who voted, plus its maker, gets a notification with the results.
- Secrecy: in public conversations, votes are secret and only the reasons carry names. In a circle or a private conversation, everyone can see who voted for what.
So if you want to see how a poll is going, you'll need to vote first, or wait until it closes.
