Northwest Gospel Church is an evangelical congregation in southwest Washington with five locations, all within Clark and Skamania counties. Its own site, nwgospel.com, is the primary source for what follows.
The five local churches are:
- Eastside: 305 NE 192nd Ave., Vancouver, WA 98684. This is the main gathering place, and its Sunday services are at 9 and 10:30 a.m.
- Summit View: 7701 NE 182nd Ave., Vancouver, WA 98682
- Westside: 11718 NW 31st Ave., Vancouver, WA 98685
- Camas/Washougal: 1420 NE 3rd Ave., Camas, WA 98607
- Battle Ground: 1900 NW 20th Ave., Battle Ground, WA 98604
The church's stated purpose is to glorify God "by equipping the church to be the church." Its "Six Pillars" statement covers the Bible as the sole authority for faith and practice, salvation as God's sovereign work, the church, community, mission and gospel trust. Its membership class is called NGC 101. Worship centers on expositional preaching, with congregational singing and communion, and the site describes a missions network that includes local partners such as Open House Ministries and Pathways.
For a visit, email [email protected] or call 360-892-7100. The church asks visitors to stop by the Connect Center in the lobby.
I haven't found independent reporting on the church's history or its denominational ties, so the church's own pages are the best source for those. If you're deciding whether to visit, the Eastside page and the church's contact line will answer the practical questions.
