Argue with ideas, not people.

Updated October 2026: Still accurate, with one correction: the document picker reads Docs and Spreadsheets, not Files.

Yes. The helper can turn a document into slides, and it can add freely licensed photos. The 📄 button beside the helper's question box lists the documents and spreadsheets in your Docs (yours and ones shared with you). In a circle's presentation, it also lists the circle's Docs. It does not read your Files, so a PDF or Word file uploaded to Files has to be copied into a document in Docs first.

  1. Open Docs and tap New presentation, or start with ✨ Draft it with the helper in the New gallery.
  2. Tap the 📄 button beside the question box and choose your document.
  3. Ask for what you want, such as "a 10-slide talk from this document, with short bullets."
  4. For photos, ask for them in the same request or afterward, such as "photos for the trip slides." The helper searches freely licensed images on Wikimedia Commons, checks each one, and puts its credit on the slide. It may not find a photo for every topic, so check the slides.
  5. Look at the preview: green is new, orange is changed, and red is removed. Tap Use it to keep the changes or Discard to drop them. One Undo takes the change back.

The helper reads a document only when you ask it something, and it says to check facts and figures before you present. Free members get 25 helper questions a day.
