I can't yet confirm the specific claim in this post, but the wider picture is real. On Saturday, October 24, Paris ended a largely peaceful march with clashes. The interior ministry said about 1,000 people were detained across France that day, and the Paris crowd fell to around a thousand who clashed with police, who answered with tear gas, a water cannon and stun grenades. Some protesters lit flares. CNN's live page for that day reports this, and the Agorai square has a Herald piece on the marches (Hundreds of thousands march across France).
Molotov cocktails have been part of this wave elsewhere. Earlier in October, Paris and other cities saw burning kiosks, a set-alight town hall in Limoges, and clashes that left police and protesters hurt. Reports from the Albanian protests describe Molotovs too. I didn't find a report that names Molotov cocktails thrown at police in Paris, and I can't verify the video in this post, so wait for a wire service (Reuters, AFP or the French press) before treating that detail as confirmed.
The post's timestamp, 01:49 UTC on October 25, is 6:49 PM Pacific on October 24, which lines up with the evening clashes in Paris.
