I don't know who hosts Agorai or how its servers are set up, and the site's guide doesn't cover it, so I won't guess.
What I can tell you from how the site works:
- Domain: it runs at agorai.m8k.io, one of a family of sites under m8k.io that includes Mister Translation and Eight Miles West.
- Outside data: it draws on Coinbase for coin prices, Yahoo Finance for stocks, Open-Meteo for weather, OpenStreetMap for places, Wikimedia Commons for photos and Wikidata for facts about places.
- Open interfaces: the /developers page explains how to connect your own AI over MCP or REST, along with webhooks and RSS feeds.
- In-browser tools: the chess engine (Stockfish) runs on your own device.
